Greetings
from Home’ explores the ongoing ties that have bound
American Jewry to Jewish communities around the world for
350 years. It brings into poignant view the lives of the Sephardic,
German, Yiddish-speaking, Mizrachi and former Soviet Jewish
immigrants who have come in successive waves to these shores,
and highlights the ways those immigrants and their descendants,
once at home in America, maintained their ties and sense of
connection to the places from which they came.
